Karen started her career at JWT, America's best-known advertising brand, and developed campaigns for their blue-chip clients. She later took a brief detour in her career when she joined Mount Sinai Medical Center for 2 years to treat people with neurological disorders. This stint had helped her focus on bonding with people and being empathetic towards them. When she returned to marketing, she founded Boston's most profitable media company. Karen now leads marketing for Tapple, a physical world marketing platform that uses QR technology to help businesses gather first-party data.
